MAJOR AIRPORTS

The closest major airport in the Nanaimo Airport (YCD), which is approximately 40 minute drive to The Beach Club. Several airlines offer daily flights to Nanaimo from major cities in British Columbia, including Vancouver and Victoria.  There are also direct flights from Calgary, Alberta.

The other alternative is the Comox Airport, which is approximately 1-hour and 20-minute drive to the resort.  There is also direct flight from major cities in British Columbia and is the preferred airport for flights from Edmonton, Alberta.

Nanaimo airport also has car rental services including Budget and National.  There is the DOMO gas station directly across from the airport parking lot, which makes it easy to fill up before dropping off your rental.

ISKWEW AIR

Iskwew Air (ISS-KWAY-YO) provides several safe and reliable scheduled flights between Vancouver Airport South (YVR South) and Qualicum Beach Airport. Iskwew Air will also shuttle you directly from airport to The Beach Club, which is approximately a 15-minute drive. Alternatively, you can use Oceanside Taxi by calling 250-954-8294 for your transportation in Qualicum Beach and Parksville.

HELIJET HELICOPTER

HELIJET

Helijet operates helicopter flights from various locations, including Vancouver and Victoria, offering a breathtaking aerial journey to Parksville.  You can board a Helijet helicopter at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre located downtown.  The flight duration is approximately 20 minutes, landing at Nanaimo Harbour Heliport.  From here, you can arrange ground transportation via car rental, taxi, or shuttle, which takes you directly to The Beach Club Resort.

Twice daily, this shuttle connects Nanaimo Heliport directly to the Beach Club Resort.  Drop-off should be requested when making flight reservations.   Pick-up must be requested 24 hours in advance by phoning Helijet at 1-800-665-4354.

BC FERRIES

If you prefer traveling by ferry, there are two main routes to reach Vancouver Island.  The first options it to take BC Ferries from Tsawwassen (near Vancouver) to Duke Point (south of Nanaimo), which is a 30-minute drive to Parksville.  The second option is to take the ferry from Horseshoe Bay (north of Vancouver) to Departure Bay (in Nanaimo), which is a 20-minute drive to Parksville.

ON THE ISLAND

For those already on Vancouver Island, you can drive to Parksville from the nearby cities. From Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, it's about a 2-hour scenic drive north along the Island Highway. From Nanaimo, it's a shorter journey of about 30 minutes.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

If you prefer public transportation, there are bus services that connect Parksville with major cities on Vancouver Island. The Island Link Bus and Tofino Bus provide regular routes between Parksville, Nanaimo, Victoria, and other destinations.
